The Spokane RV Resort and Deer Park Golf Club are being auctioned off, but they will remain open for business during the transfer to new ownership. Williams & Williams Worldwide Real Estate Auction will conduct the sale of the RV park, golf club and more than 265 acres of property in Deer Park, Washington, about 20 miles north of Spokane, at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26.

Redwood RV, the startup created by Thor Industries to produce high-end fifth wheel travel trailers, has filled key management positions and reported that it is close to finalizing a production location in Elkhart County, Indiana.
The RV industry is anticipating a gain of 39 percent in shipments of RVs from manufacturers to retailers this year, compared with 2009, and another 11 percent gain next year.
The latest forecasts for the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association by the industry’s analyst, Dr. Richard Curtin, projects shipments of 230,300 RVs this year and 249,700 in 2011.
