Long level paved pull through spaces, grassy curb lined sites, quiet spaces far away from the access road, pet friendly, fully stocked camp store with fresh produce and night time security. Plus, the Starbucks next door offers free WiFi. It has just about everything a discerning RVer looks for in an overnight RV park. The best part is the nightly rate. A big fat zero! That’s right, it’s free! It is the Susanville, California Wal-Mart. Not only do they allow RVers to stay overnight, they embrace it. They have designated RV spaces along the quiet side of the parking lot that will accommodate the largest of RVs. So the next time you find yourself in the northern Sierras looking for a place to stop for the evening, head to the Susanville Wal-Mart. Tell them Dave sent ya!
