Companies and individuals making donations to the RV/MH Hall of Fame in Elkhart, Indiana, can enhance their gift by buying a brick in the hall’s Walk of Fame by August 31. Brick purchases made by that date will qualify for matching funds from a $100,000 challenge grant.
The hall offers three ways to buy bricks, which can be engraved with the name of the donor or someone the donor wishes to honor. For a donation of $250, a four-inch by eight-inch brick can be engraved with two lines of type, each 14 characters long. For $500, an eight-inch by eight-inch brick can be engraved with three lines of type, 14 characters long. A logo or graphic can be added to the brick. Usually, adding a logo or graphic requires a donation of $750, but that feature is being offered at the $500 gift level through August.
Barry Cole, vice chairman of the hall’s board of directors, said buying a brick is an excellent way for companies to honor employees or for an individual to create a memorial to a loved one who served in the manufactured housing or recreation vehicle industries.
Donations to the hall are tax deductible and will be used to help retire debt. Information can be found at rvmhhalloffame.org.
