Ad Specifications
Media
Files should be sent on Zip disks or CD-ROM, in Mac format only. If you wish to e-mail files, inform your ad rep, then send them to graphics@rvlife.com. We have Mac Stuffit Deluxe 6.5 if you need to compress files. All ad submissions must have hard copy included.

File Formats
We accept ads in the following formats. However, we require a signed proof of any adjustments we make before printing.
Quark XPress 6.5
Adobe Illustrator 10
Adobe Photoshop 7
FreeHand 8
EPS (convert all fonts to paths)
PDF - Black & white
PDF - Spot color (must include spot color separations)
PDF - 4 color (must have embedded fonts and all graphics need to be CMYK TIFFs or EPS)
Additional Files
Include all support files required for your ad: digital photos, embedded EPS graphics, TIFFs, etc. and all fonts.
Colors
All 4 color images should be in CMYK. All spot colors must be defined as spot colors in the creating program. We use the following Pantone spot colors: Red 185, Reflex Blue, Process Blue and Green 561. Check with your advertising representative for availability of a specific color.
Specifications
Interior pages - 105 line screen, 240 dpi.
Cover Section - 133 line screen, 300 dpi.
