Water Hose Is Heated
For RVers in cold weather climates, the Conrad Company of Columbus, Ohio, has developed a water hose that is designed to keep water from freezing as it travels from a spigot to an RV.
The electrically heated water hose connects like any ordinary hose, but also plugs into a standard electrical outlet. The waterproof heated circuit is wrapped around a 3/4-inch, heavy-duty hose that is thermally insulated.
Edward Conrad, president of the Conrad Company, said the hose was created in response to requests from RV users, but also has applications for use at job site trailers, small farms and other locations. The hoses are available in a variety of lengths at prices starting at $320. For information, visit www.nofreezewaterhose.com or call (888) 878-7056
