Good news for those of us in the Pacific Northwest that enjoy camping at Fort Flagler State Park on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. Virtually all of the spaces in the lower campground are now full hook up spaces, even those great view spaces right on the water. Spaces with existing hookups were upgraded with new water service and 50 amp electrical service as well. The bad news is whoever installed the sewer hookups thinks us RVers have circumvented the law of physics when it comes to gravity. Most of the sewer hookups seem to be located at the highest point in the space. To make it even more challenging, the fitting is mounted several inches higher yet. To make sure the fitting is totally useless to low strung RVs, they poured a concrete apron around the fitting with a tall collar. Now if I can just perfect my anti-gravity sewer hose I will be the hero of RVers everywhere!
Defying gravity, just another RVing adventure.
