Last week I related how to survive camping with fourteen teenagers. Keeping them entertained was the hardest part, but thanks to the US Navy we received some assistance in the entertainment department. We were lucky enough to pick a weekend at Fort Flagler State Park when the US Navy Band was scheduled to give a performance. An old artillery bunker served as the amphitheater providing great viewing options for everyone’s enjoyment. While the jazz they played was written long before any of the teens were born, I saw many toes and fingers keeping time with the music. Unique surprises along the road is just another part of what makes RVing so enjoyable. Get out there and enjoy the adventure!
