Most people would be horrified to discover their son married a gold digger. For me I am delighted! If you have been following my blog on a regular basis, you know that I included searching for and finding that elusive yellow metal known as gold in my RVing adventures. RVs lend themselves exceptionally well to prospecting. They are much less temperamental than a burro and can carry more. My newly wed son and his bride joined me on a recent RV prospecting adventure on Blewett Pass this past week. I am happy to say Emily, his bride of six weeks, was happy to help in our golden search; jumping in the hole and shoveling pay dirt while I sluiced the gold from it. While I am not sure if she contracted gold fever on the trip, it was an enjoyable RVing adventure for all involved. Yes, my son married a gold digger and I couldn’t be prouder!
