Over the past two weeks we have looked at why Nevada is a natural choice for boondocking and the many places we can go geocaching during our RVing adventures. RVers can even use the geocaching website to assist in finding areas to boondock. While searching for places to go geocaching near Nevada’s Valley of Fire State Park, I came across a geocache titled “Better than Walmart”. The first three sentences of the cache description read, “The cache is in a free camping area. Some RVer’s stay in Wal-Mart Parking lots as they travel. When we arrived here we said this is “better than Wal-Mart’s parking lot”. This is a great area to explore and be sure to see the Valley of Fire State Park while you are here.” Places to explore, free camping and geocaching, sounds like a winning place to camp for me! Who knows, I may see you there?
