A couple weeks ago we encountered a construction length restriction that required over a 150 mile detour. Well a little farther south of the last detour on the way to Yosemite National Park we encountered yet another temporary length restriction on Hwy 140. This restriction involves any combined vehicle length of 45’ or more. It seems flooding about three years ago damaged the road and the State of California hasn’t quite gotten around to fixing it yet. Needless to say we had to change our planned route once again, adding additional mileage. Someone should inform Arnold that tourism accounts for a large percentage of his states revenue and get their roads opened back up.
