Sceptre, superior manufacturer of world class LED and LCD HDTVs and PC displays, unveils its newest 16 Series LED HDTV designed for outdoor enthusiasts or travelers who desire on-the-go entertainment.
Perfect for smaller spaces such as RVs, camping trailers or an occasional weekend road trip, the E165BD-HD features an integrated DVD player that eliminates the need for additional equipment. The 16 Series LED HDTV also comes with a car power adapter to make on-the-go entertainment even easier, two HDMI ports to increase its connectivity and enhanced power saving technology to reduce energy consumption, preventing it from draining the car battery.
“Sceptre believes that entertainment on the go should be more than a phone or tablet screen,” stated Cathy Chou, Vice President of Operations, Sceptre. “The new LED HDTV is the perfect summer television set, allowing consumers to enjoy their favorite sports, movies or shows either indoors or out.”
According to Trip Advisor, 40 percent of respondents planned to take road trips during 2012 with New York City, Las Vegas and San Francisco as the top US cities to visit. In addition, a recent survey conducted by the Consumer Electronics Association indicates televisions continue to be one of the products most desired by consumers.
To increase its portability and ease of storage, Sceptre designed the 16 Series LED HDTV to be compact and light, measuring less than 2 inches thick and weighing less than 4 lbs with stand. In addition to its slim design, the E165BD-HD is neck-base removable for easy transporting and can also be wall mounted, making it ideal for smaller locations such as a basement, attic or even bathroom.
The E165BD-HD is available in black or white and is currently available for $199 MSRP at Walmart, Target, K-mart, Sears, QVC, Menards, Costco and NewEgg.
