The Copper Spike Train Excursion, operated by Arizona Eastern Railway, has begun its second season, taking passengers from historic Broad Street in Globe to the Apache Gold Casino Resort. The train travels on a line that once took travelers between New Orleans and Los Angeles. The excursion train includes a 1920s coach car, a club car rebuilt in the art deco style of the 1940s, and a 1950s-era dome car. The train runs Thursdays through Sundays.
