Allied Specialty Vehicles (ASV) has combined its Fleetwood, American Coach, Monaco and Holiday Rambler brands into the Allied Recreation Group and named John Draheim to head the division.
ASV acquired Monaco, Holiday Rambler and other brands from Navistar last spring and consolidated all motorhome production at its plant in Decatur, Indiana, where Fleetwood motorhomes are built.
Draheim was Fleetwood’s president before his promotion to lead the Allied Recreation Group. Jim Meyer, chief operating officer of ASV, said bringing all the brands into one group would make everything “much smoother for our dealers and customers.” He added, “We have invested in four of the most renowned brands in the industry and our success in rebuilding Fleetwood and American Coach sets the stage for a similar return to power for Monaco and Holiday Rambler.”
Draheim said, “We have been working diligently since May to develop a new lineup of product for Monaco and Holiday Rambler that will reinvigorate the brands and return them to the extraordinary reputations they once held.”
