Best Parks in America has adopted a new rating system to evaluate parks and campgrounds that apply for affiliation, ending its reliance on Woodall and Trailer Life ratings. The new system rates 110 elements designed to identify parks that, according to the group’s president, David Gorin, are “of the highest quality in terms of guest experience, facilities, amenities, hospitality and service.”
The association currently has 66 affiliated parks. It recently named four new directors: Michael Gurevich, owner of Cherry Hill Park in Maryland; Tripp Keber, chief operating officer of the company that developed Bella Terra RV Resort in Alabama; Vern Mangels, owner of Anaheim Resort RV Park in California, and Randy Packard, owner of Pine Acres Family Camping Resort in Massachusetts.
