The new Gas Guard XL from McNaughton Inc. lets you protect the paint and finish of your motorhome, truck or car from gasoline while you are filling the fuel tank. The Gas Guard is a flexible rubber “bib” that catches any stray gasoline drops. It is made of a special rubber material that holds the gasoline drops until they evaporate.
The XL is a supersize version of the Gas Guard, which was introduced in 2000. It slips over the fuel filling neck and lies beneath the fuel nozzle while gas is pumped. When not in use, it can be folded up and hidden behind the fuel door.
The Gas Guard XL not only protects the paint job, but also shields Plasti Dip spray-on rubberized coating. The XL is 16 inches long and is priced at $12.95.
