More than 30 campgrounds across the country are providing free campsites and cabin accommodations this summer to help support Andrew Ratzlaff, a 27-year-old New York City man who is bicycling across the country to raise awareness about lymphoma, a form of cancer.
Ratzlaff began his journey on the East Coast on Mother’s Day and hopes to reach San Francisco in mid-July. Ratzlaff lost his father to lymphoma a decade ago and is working to support the Lymphoma Research Foundation. Member of the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds are participating in the effort. Information about the bicycle trip can be found at GoCampingAmerica.com.
