A number of weeks ago we looked at why federal Wilderness designation was not a good fit with RVers. There is an alternative that protects the public lands while allowing most Americans to actively enjoy them. The Blue Ribbon Coalition has proposed a new classification of land use known as Back Country Land designation.

If you love to boondock with your RV on public land and the adventures that come with it, I urge you to support this new land designation. Let your neighbors, RVing friends and most importantly your elected officials know you support Back Country.
