For this new edition of Camping Utah, which was first published in 2002, author Donna Ikenberry researched everything anew to create an up-to-date guide to more than 300 public campgrounds in Utah.
The book provides detailed information on campsites managed by the National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, state, county and city governments and tribal organizations. GPS coordinates pinpoint locations, and the book outlines the amenities, fees, size restrictions, road conditions, recreational activities in the area and reservation information. In short, the books tell you just about everything you would want to know before deciding where to stay, whether you are traveling in a motorhome or pitching a tent.
This 292-page book is part of the FalconGuides state camping series. Maps, charts and beautiful black and white photographs add to the reader’s understanding of the available campgrounds and the recreational opportunities. The book is organized into nine geographical areas, and includes a helpful index. Ikenberry, the author, is an experienced RVer and a frequent contributor to RV Life and other publications.
Camping Utah is available in paperback at retail and online bookstores and also in electronic format at amazon.com.
