Washdrops and Prolong’s Waterless Wash and Shine are two new products designed to clean vehicles with little or no water.
Prolong comes in a spray bottle, and you just spray the product on a car, RV, boat or motorcycle and wipe the dirt off. There is no need for water, rinsing or drying.  Prolong has lubricating agents designed to encapsulate dirt, sap, tar and bugs so they can be easily removed. The citrus-based formula leaves a protective film that isn’t attracted to water and doesn’t rinse off. For more information, visit prolong.com.
Washdrops works a little differently. You add an ounce of Washdrops to a gallon of water in a bucket and use a sponge to wash the dirt away. No rinsing is required; just wipe the vehicle dry.
Cequent Consumer Products, which distributes Washdrops, says the product works by releasing millions of elongated micro-molecules that embed themselves in dirt and pull dirt particles into the water.
Both Washdrops and Prolong Waterless Wash and Shine can be used to clean patio furniture and other items as well as vehicles.
Cequent markets Washdrops and its other products, including the Reese, Highland and Draw-Tite brands, through major retailers. For information on Washdrops, visit washdrops.com.
