Fleetwood RV has reinvented the Excursion brand as a fairly short (33 feet) but luxurious Class A diesel pusher tagged as a 2013 model.
The new Excursion has contemporary décor, with hardwood cabinetry, tile flooring and a spacious galley with solid-surface countertops and a glass-tile backsplash. The interior height is 84 inches.
There is a 30-inch-deep slidedout on the street side to provide extra interior room. The slideout contains a refrigerator, pantry and a residential-style sectional transformer sofa and dinette. Across from the sofa is a 40-inch Sony LCD Blu-ray-ready TV that drops down from behind an overhead cabinet to provide a good viewing angle.
The Excursion bedroom features a full-length mirrored wardrobe and a walk-around queen bed. You can add a washer/dryer and a 32-inch Sony LCD TV. For those who need more sleeping capacity without sacrificing floor space, there is the option of a Hide-A-Loft with a drop-down queen bed.
A 300 horsepower Cummins engine powers the Excursion. The exterior includes pass-through storage, and total exterior storage capacity of 174 cubic feet.
Suggested retail price starts at $175,747. For information, visit fleetwoodrv.com.
