{mosgoogle left}If approved by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Riverside, the sale to American Industrial Partners Capital Fund of New York would concentrate Fleetwood's motorhome production in Indiana. The equity firm had agreed to pay $53 million subject to reduction for the assumption of certain liabilities up to $18 million, including warranty obligations for Fleetwood motorhomes.
The proposed sale includes motorhome manufacturing and service facilities in Decatur, Indiana. Excluded are Fleetwood’s motorhome manufacturing facilities in Riverside and Paxinos, Pennsylvania.
Fleetwood was the leading manufacturer of Class A motorhomes last year, with a retail market share of 18.6 percent.
