Forest River Names Executive

Gary Denton, a former ATV national racing champion and vice president of sales and marketing for Weekend Warrior, has been named general manager of Forest River’s travel trailer and fifth wheel brands produced at the company’s plant in Dallas, Oregon. Denton will oversee product development, marketing and sales for the Wildwood, Salem, Cherokee Grey Wolf, Wildcat, Sierra and Sandpiper lines.  The trailers are built in a 130,000-square-foot plant that employs about 200 workers.

Denton, 52, joined Forest River in 2008 to spearhead the launch of the Stealth toy hauler. In his new job, his goal will be to build sales in a territory that encompasses the western seaboard and parts of Canada.
