Wildcat Trailers – a division of Indiana-based Forest River Inc. – has recently announced a new mid-range, travel trailer line and after learning about its construction with a long list of standards, the company seems to be on the right path of providing RVers with a reliable series available at a competitive price point.
The six-floorplan line, which joins the ranks of Wildcat`s existing series of Fifth Wheels, is listed in the neighborhood of a competitive low to mid $30,000 (depending on the floorplan) while entertaining such high-end features such as welded all-aluminum, laminated construction plus gel-coated side-walls for added reliability. Inside, other appointments include residential-style furniture, optimum headroom throughout and a series of functional layouts to meet a range of RV lifestyles. The floorplans includes the 343BIK, 312RLI, 322TBI, 251RBQ, 301DBK, and the 311RKS.

Models across the series also highlight one to three slideouts (that also offer maximum headroom), with added emphasis on all things RVers require including ample storage space (including exterior pass-through storage with a central docking station), a 15,000 BTU AC, 30,000 BTU furnace, 50-amp service, a one-touch adjustable awning with LED lighting, and EZ-Load wide stance axels (with Sway Command Prep).
Additional Wildcat Standards Include:
- 40-inch LED HDTV with a convenient swing arm
- Glazed cherry, raised panel hardwood cabinet doors throughout
- The Sway Command Tow Control system prep
- Fully appointed galley including an eight cubic-foot double door refrigerator

“The key aspects in which we focused on is storage space, ease of use, accessibility, convenience, and high-end residential features in a mid-priced travel trailer,” added Saal. “In all, we are coming to the market with six different floorplans and they will all be completed in the next 30 days (as of May 6). Right now, we have four offline and two more are coming this month.”
