GMC has produced a four-part online video series on towing an RV. In the first video, James Bell, GM’s head of consumer affairs, learns how to maneuver a large Airstream trailer towed by a GMC Sierra. Robert Krouse, lead trailering engineer for GMC, provides the instruction on a course laid out on the tarmac of Camarillo Airport near Los Angeles.
Another video in the series explores problems with brakes and sway. There is also a video on Airstream2Go, a company that rents Airstreams paired with GMC vehicles for trips, and a video that promotes the 2014 Sierra as an ideal vehicle for towing.
