Darryl Searer, president of the RV/MH Hall of Fame, and Tom McNulty, the organization’s vice president, have earned Citizen of the Year awards for their work to solve a financial crisis that threatened to close the Hall of Fame.
The two men received the awards from the Indiana Manufactured Housing Association–Recreation Vehicle Indiana Council at a banquet in Indianapolis. Intensive fund-raising efforts have enabled the hall, located in Elkhart, Indiana, to drastically lower its debt and have put the hall on a path toward financial stability.
