All the comforts of a Class A coach in a smaller Class C size is what Winnebago Industries is promising in its Itasca Impulse lineup for 2011.
The Impulse is being offered in five floor plans designed to appeal to different buyers, from large families to downsizing couples. For those just entering the RV lifestyle, there is the 24V, a basic model that is the only floor plan without a slideout. Choose the 31C and you get a large slideout room that expands the living area. If you need more sleeping space, you’ll find that in the 31J, which includes bunk beds. And if you want a double slideout, you can find that in the 31N, which has a side-aisle floor plan that features an L-shaped galley, large bathroom, and walk-around queen bed.
New for 2011 is the 26Q floor plan, which has a street-side slideout to expand the living area, a walk-around queen bed in the bedroom, and a unique bathroom with curved walls for maximum space and styling. An optional entertainment center is located in the galley area and includes a swiveling 26-inch LCD TV so viewing is optimal from any location in the coach, including the cab seats that revolve for additional seating when parked.
All of the floor plans, except the 24V, can be upgraded with the Silver package of interior and exterior refinements, including an aerodynamic front cap, deluxe graphics, MCD American Duo solar/blackout roller shades, a Dream Dinette table and range cover. With the Silver package, you can also add other options, including a double-door refrigerator.
Roger Martin, the company’s vice president of sales and marketing, said, “The Impulse is a quality-built coach that offers plenty of features, comforts and enjoyment. And, with the addition of the Silver package, this coach takes Class C living to the next level.”
The Impulse carries suggested retail base prices ranging from $68,985 to $92,736. For information, visit winnebagoind.com.
