{mosgoogle left}KOA and Airstream brought out showgirls in flashy costumes for a splashy introduction of the new program at the KOA at Circus Circus on the Las Vegas Strip. There for an introductory rental of $45 a night, campers can stay in a 27-foot Airstream Flying Cloud that sleeps four and has contemporary interiors with flat screen TVs, oversized windows and recessed lighting.
KOA is purchasing 25 Flying Cloud models for company-operated campgrounds and will give franchisees the opportunity to buy Airstream models for their properties as the program expands. The KOA units feature different flooring and slight structural enhancements to prepare them for high-traffic occupancy, but otherwise are identical to models sold on dealer lots.
