Lance Camper Manufacturing Corporation started building truck campers about 50 years ago, and created the most popular camper brand in North America. The company expanded into the ultra-light travel trailer business in 2009 and added its first toy hauler this year.
Now it has launched a second toy hauler model, dubbed the No Compromises 2612, designed for RVers who need a big cargo bay and plenty of sleeping room. The 2612 sleeps eight and has more than 12 feet of cargo space to accommodate today’s four-place side by sides and other sport vehicles. Standard features include air conditioning, a 100-gallon fresh water tank, a 40-gallon fuel station, and electric side and rear awnings with LED accent lighting. It also has frameless dark tint windows, residential cabinet construction with hardwood doors, a pillowtop mattress in the master suite, aluminum wheels and a fiberglass front cap with LED accent lighting.
Buyers can choose such options as keyless entry, a 4k Onan generator, a central vacuum system, a premium Kicker stereo system, a 32-inch LCD flat screen monitor, an auto-tracking satellite dish, 160w solar panel, Thule rack system, and enclosed, heated and insulated holding tanks.
Gary Conley, Lance national sales manager, said dealers and customers loved what they saw in Lance’s first toy hauler floor plan, the 2212, and now “the 2612 is the perfect floor plan for those needing a bit more cargo and/or sleeping capacity.”
Marketing director Bob Rogers added, “With the popularity of the side by side sport utility market and specifically the larger four-place SxS’s like the Polaris RZR XP 4 1000, as well as large road bikes, utility quads and other toys, our customers are asking for a functional 12-foot cargo area, which we made sure the 2612 had.”
Lance builds toy haulers in 18-foot, 22-foot and 26-foot lengths, with an emphasis on lightweight design. The 2612 has a suggested retail price of $48,212. For information, visit lancecamper.com
