A campsite reservation system is being developed by Montana State Parks for up to 21 state parks, starting next spring. The system will allow reservations to be made online or by telephone. Park officials said from a quarter to one-half of the campsites in each park will remain available on a first-come, first-served basis for campers who prefer to be more spontaneous.
Chas Van Genderen, state parks administrator, said the establishment of a camp reservation system is a response to what has been “the number one visitor inquiry each season.”Research Campgrounds, Plan RV Safe Routes & Turn your phone into an RV GPS.
