(Victoria, BC), Beginning June 17, Black Ball Ferry Line launches its expanded summer schedule with eight sailings a day on the M.V. COHO’s scenic, 90-minute journey between Port Angeles, Wash. and Victoria, B.C.
The M.V. COHO will depart Port Angeles daily at 8:20 a.m., 12:45p.m., 5:15 p.m. and 9:30p.m. and returns from Victoria at 6:10a.m., 10:30 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. daily.
Ride the M.V. COHO to Victoria with Dad this Father’s Day weekend and take in one of Victoria’s many festivals. Heritage Day, an ethnic dance extravaganza, takes place at the Cameron Bandshell in Beacon Hill Park on June 19. On Father’s Day, June 20, the Bandshell hosts the 8th Annual Father’s Day Ceilidh in the Park, a rousing celebration of Irish and Scottish musical heritage. Also on Father’s Day, Vancouver Island’s 7th Annual Afro-Carib Carnival, a free cultural event, takes place at the Selkirk Waterfront. M.V. COHO offers year round passenger and vehicle service between Port Angeles and Victoria’s scenic Inner Harbour and Port Angeles, gateway to the Olympic National Park and Washington State. During the scenic 90-minute crossing passengers can enjoy the many onboard amenities including a café and snack bar, gift shop, duty free shopping and solarium viewing area on the top passenger deck.
