Doran Manufacturing has incorporated a high temperature alarm in its 360RV Tire Pressure Monitoring System. The system sounds an audible alarm and flashes “Hot” on a display screen when the tire temperature exceeds 248 degrees.
“This additional monitoring and warning capability gives the drivers a more complete picture of what is really happening with their tires, so that they can take appropriate action to avert a blow-out, breakdown or accident,” said Jim Samocki, Doran general manager.
The system can be installed on motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels and tow vehicles. The unit provides “at-a-glance” status updates on tire pressure, triggering alarms when pressure falls below acceptable levels. For information, visit doranmfg.com.
