Norcold has introduced its largest made-for-RV refrigerator ever, the PolarMax 18, which works on both AC and LP power.
The 18.3-cubic-foot refrigerator features full-width food and freezer compartments, automatic defrost, an LED control panel, and positive-locking recessed door handles that remain closed during travel.
“PolarMax 18 is a real RV refrigerator built for the road and sized like a home unit,” said Kevin Stover, Norcold product manager. “Now RVers can have the best of both worlds.”
Stover said the refrigerator’s ability to run on either electricity or propane is a big advantage. Unlike refrigerators that depend on AC power from a campground hookup or generator, the Norcold can switch to propane when the electricity is needed for other appliances or is unavailable. “Norcold models allow RVers to go wherever they want and enjoy the freedom they were looking for when purchasing their RV,” Stover said.
Norcold is a subsidiary of Thetford Corporation, headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The website is at thetford.com.
