The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department is continuing to expand its efforts to serve hikers and bikers by adding gear and food storage lockers, phone charging stations, bicycle fix-it stations and group shelters at Milo McIver and Bullards Beach state parks and the Champoeg State Heritage Area. Fix-it stations have a bike stand, basic bike tools and a floor pump. Oregon now has 31 hiker/biker campsites within its 52 parks that have campgrounds.
