Fairview Farm Goat Dairy in Dallas, Oregon, has opened what it bills as the nation’s first museum devoted entirely to goats. The museum is small, just 200 square feet, but the dairy operators say it is only the second goat museum in the world. The other is in Australia. Artifacts include 19th century opera gloves fashioned from goat leather and a porcelain doll with hair made from the wool of an Angoran goat. Visitors can also view the farm’s 40 goats and watch the cheese-making process. For information, visit fairviewdairyfarm.com.
