The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department has issued a new parks guide with detailed information on 200 of Oregon’s most popular state campgrounds, day-use areas, trails, bikeways and heritage sites. The new edition includes an enlarged state map and a number of articles, including recommendations for tide pooling and wildlife viewing.
The guide is available at the department’s offices in Salem and Portland and online at oregonstateparks.org. The electronic version of the guide has links to park web pages.
