Since opening in 2000, Mallard Creek Golf Course & RV Resort has steadily grown in popularity as a favorite Oregon RV-Golf destination. Located in Lebanon, about 35 miles south of Salem, the state capital, Mallard Creek is set in the picturesque Willamette Valley just 20 minutes from Interstate 5.
The RV park and championship 18-hole course is 6,938 yards and has many wide fairways and lots of water. The most challenging hole is the 549-yard, sixth. Horseshoe-shaped, the sixth hole has a never-ending dogleg left, which is good for left-handed golfers who tend to slice.
What`s more is Mallard Creek features two long par 4s, including the 470-yard fifth and the 482-yard 17th. The ninth hole has the distinction of being the course’s longest at 581 yards, and the number one handicap as well. The interesting layout includes number 18, at 575-yards, running parallel to the ninth hole, with both finishing at the clubhouse.

Mallard Creek’s general manager and PGA pro Mark Tunstill shared the course is fun for every level of golfer. In addition to this excellent track, Mallard Creek features a 43-space RV park.
“Stay and play packages at Mallard Creek are the main attraction for our RV guests,” says Tunstill. “Two nights, weekly, and monthly packages are available. They include site rental and unlimited golf,” said Tunstill.
This pet-friendly resort is nestled in a grove of oak trees, with Hamilton Creek as its boundary. All sites are paved, have their own lawns, and include full hookups with 50-amp service. Featuring a blend of pull-through and back-in sites, there`s also showers, rest rooms, cable access, and WiFi.
Other comforts at Mallard Creek include a restaurant and lodge, with an adjoining patio to take in the beauty of this scenic course. The fireplace gives the restaurant a cozy atmosphere and there`s a full-service bar with micro-brewed beer and local wines.
Mallard Creek Golf Course & RV Resort is a great public course, with a never-ending amount of scenery and wildlife.
