Have an Overland RV Experience
Overland Expo is an annual event, founded in Arizona in 2009, that brings together thousands of adventurers who love getting off the beaten path with off-road motorcycles and four-wheel drive vehicles. If you live to explore rugged terrain of any type, whether it’s close to home or in some exotic far away destination, paved or unpaved, then the Overland Expo EAST is the place to learn how to do it better.
According to the Overland Expo EAST organizers, “this three-day weekend is designed to educate and inspire people to get out and explore their world—there are hundreds of session-hours of classes, workshops, and roundtable programs for four-wheel-drive and adventure motorcycle nthusiasts; a large trade exposition with exhibitors, vendors, authors, and filmmakers; and evening inspirational programs and music.”
The vendor list is impressive, and growing. You’ll find BF Goodrich tires and Four Wheel Campers, along with Land Rover, RawHyde Adventures and BMW motorcycles as top sponsors, with 100 more vendors, authors, videographers and demo vehicles being showcased. Attendees will get to participate in everything from hands-on classroom sessions by experts, to a custom instructional driving course built and staffed by the world-famous Land Rover driver team to an “Adventure Motorcycle Village” with a teaching arena and riding course.
Overland Expo happens twice yearly, once in Arizona in the Spring and as of 2014, in North Carolina in the Fall. At both of these gatherings, Expo organizers create a three-day weekend that’s designed to educate and inspire people to get out and explore their world. Attendees have a hard time choosing from hundreds of session-hours of classes, workshops, and roundtable programs for four-wheel-drive and adventure motorcycle enthusiasts. In addition there’s a large trade exposition with exhibitors, vendors, authors, and filmmakers; and evening inspirational programs and music.
