Willapa Bay on Washington’s Long Beach peninsula is where one out of every four oysters served in the U.S. is harvested, and the peak season is now through April. Area restaurants on the peninsula are responding to the event with seasonal menus that feature oysters. You can find a three-course “Oyster Frenzy” dinner Thursday nights at Jimella & Nanci’s Market Café, chicken fried oysters at the Pickled Fish and garlicky oyster ‘scargot at The Depot.
