The resort is adjacent to the Matheson Wetlands Preserve, which sprawls across 890 acres along the banks of the Colorado River. More than 200 species of birds from song sparrows to waterfowl occupy the preserve, and can be seen from private trails that extend from the resort.
Pull-through full hookup sites with 20/30/50 amp service are available throughout the resort, and 200-amp service is available in the southern section. Amenities include a general store with groceries and RV supplies, a covered pavilion and free wi-fi access. The south side has a pool and spa and an enclosed dog run. There is also a large koi pond.
Deeded lots are available at prices starting at $100,000. The fully landscaped standard lot with a concrete pad is large—40 feet by 80 feet—and many options can be added, including a gazebo, outdoor kitchen and hot tub. You can even buy a one or two-story casita with a garage. The casitas range from small units with a laundry room, bath, covered patio and garage to larger one- and two-story units with full kitchens, bedrooms, fireplaces and other amenities.
