With Batter Blaster, you pour batter for pancakes or waffles out of a pressurized can onto a skillet or waffle iron. The ingredients in the Batter Blaster include organic wheat flour, organic cane sugar and organic eggs.
The propellant in the can is ÇO2, which doesn’t deplete the ozone, and the cans are made of recyclable steel.
The product must be refrigerated. Each 18-ounce can makes about 28 four-inch pancakes or eight waffles. The Batter Blaster, launched in San Francisco in 2007, is now made in Austin, Texas, and is widely available in supermarkets. Suggested retail price is $4.99.
