Rand McNally GPS
Rand McNally has introduced a new version of its GPS device for RVers that includes Wi-Fi connectivity so that users can get updated weather information.
The new device, the RVND 7720, has a seven-inch display with a brighter screen than earlier models and is equipped with RV-specific navigation information so that large motorhomes and trailers can be routed around restricted roads, low bridges and other hazards. It includes information on points of interest, travel centers, campgrounds, RV parks and rest stops. Buyers receive Lifetime Maps so they can update their devices at no additional cost.
Other features include routing options that allow users to avoid smaller roads, fuel logs to record fuel purchases on a trip, an address book, and alerts to inform drivers of points of interest, red-light cameras and other items.
