Formerly available as an e-book, Retire to an RV by Jamie Hall Bruzenak and Alice Zyetz has been updated for a new 334-page print edition. Zyetz died earlier this year before she could see the revised book in print, but it is a major accomplishment. She and Bruzenak have managed to bring into one informative volume answers to nearly every question anyone could have about full-time RVing.
The book is made immensely helpful and readable by the inclusion of comments from 41 RVers who have lived the full-timing lifestyle. Through these comments, you learn how individuals and couples dealt with all sorts of issues, from choosing between a motorhome and a fifth wheel to saving money on camping and fuel.
The book is subtitled “The Road to Affordable Retirement,” and it is designed for the reader who is contemplating retiring, buying an RV and traveling full time, or nearly so. The authors guide readers through each step in the process of deciding whether full-time RVing is the right choice for them, and if so, how to choose an RV, make an RV budget, handle mail on the road and deal with countless practical problems.
In addition to helpful advice, the book has valuable lists of other resources where you can find RV clubs, RV driving instruction, Internet forums and information on other topics. There is also a section on 55 ways to save money while living the RV lifestyle.
Retire to an RV is published at $19.95 and is available at rvlifestyleexperts.com, RVbookstore.com, Amazon.com and other retailers.
