Roadtrek Motorhomes has introduced a new model, the CS-Adventurous, that is built on the Mercedes Sprinter van and is designed for the avid RVer who wants the ability to take lengthy trips in comfort.
“We incorporated a very advanced hydronic heating system to make spending time in the van as comfortable as home,” said Roadtrek President Jim Hammill.
The Alde hydronic heating system provides in-floor radiant heating and hot water. The system can preheat the vehicle, including the engine, on cold days. When the engine is running it takes advantage of the excess engine heat to reduce propane use. The CS-Adventurous has water, propane, storage and battery capacity to handle dry camping and extended trips.
The galley includes a seven-cubic-foot refrigerator, raised convection/microwave oven, stove, sink and hot and cold filtered drinking water. There is storage above and below the counter and in a pantry. The front of the coach has three captain’s seats that swivel and a table. The rear of the coach features a power sofa that converts to a twin bed or a king-size bed. An optional folding mattress can be employed to provide an additional bed at the front. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and sit-down or stand-up shower.
The CS-Adventurous is built on the Sprinter van with a 170-inch wheelbase, so it is 16 inches shorter than motorhomes built on the extended version of the Sprinter van. The compact length makes it easier to park.
This Roadtrek model has a suggested retail price of $115,960. For information, visit roadtrek.com.
