RV Armor has created a direct-bonded (no adhesives required) roofing system that is maintenance-free, with materials and labor guaranteed for the life of the RV. The system is endorsed by Gary Bunzer, well known as “the RV Doctor” in print and online media.
Bunzer says, “If you’ve owned an RV for longer than five minutes I’m sure you’ve been briefed on the necessity of regular roof inspections, the costly resealing of all seams, edges and roof components every two or three years, forever. Well, with the RV Armor roofing system, that is no longer a requirement.”
RV Armor uses a liquid synthetic compound (applied twice), which adheres to any roofing surface, even bare wood. “If your RV is equipped with a rubber EPDM roof, any type of TPO, fiberglass, aluminum, FRP, ABS or any variations thereof,” says Bunzer, “I can safely state that the RV Armor roof will definitely be the last roof your RV will ever need.”
There is no need to go to a dealership to have the system installed. RV Armor sends factory-trained installers to the cus- tomer’s location to do the work. The installers carefully remove old sealant from the front and rear caps and around other areas such as roof vents and antennas. And then, says Bunzer, they inspect every single roof penetration, install fabric webbing and special flashing and ensure that the durable polymer adheres and cures into a watertight, UV resistant rubber membrane. The result, says Bunzer, is that there are “no more seams or screw attachments to ever worry about!” And, he adds, “Imagine never having to climb up on the roof of your RV ever again!”
Bunzer calls the RV Armor system, “the best investment one could make for any RV.” You can find more information and a video on the process at rv-armor.com.
