The Port San Luis Harbor District is seeking a developer for a proposed 32-acre RV resort and campground at Avila Beach on the Central California coast. The site, named Harbor Terrace, is on a bluff with panoramic views of San Luis Obispo Bay. It could have as many as 126 RV and cabin sites, 56 campsites and 16,000 square feet of hospitality and retail uses. The harbor district and the California Coastal Conservancy have formed a partnership to expedite the project, with a draft environmental report due this month. Deadline for developers to submit proposals is Oct. 9. Information can be found at portsanluis.com/harbor-terrace.
