The annual Campfire Canvass survey of RV owners shows that most intend to travel more this summer than they did last year and that there is less concern about fuel prices.
The survey, conducted by the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association and Cvent, found that two-thirds of the owners plan to use their RV more this summer, 28 percent plan to use it about the same as last summer and just 4 percent plan to travel less. Â Only 30 percent said high fuel prices would influence their plans, down 58 percent from two years ago. Parks are a popular travel destination, with 77 percent planning to visit a state park and 74 percent going to a national park.
