Sales of smaller motorhomes have increased while sales of larger motorhomes have declined during the first six months of this year, compared with the same period in 2009. The latest reports from Statistical Surveys showed that Class A sales were off nearly 8 percent, but Class C sales were up more than 8 percent, leaving total motorhome sales about even for the year.
Sales of van campers, which are designated as Class B motorhomes, showed strength, with sales up more than 47 percent during the first six months.
