Starcraft’s new Travel Star half-ton fifth wheel is light enough to be towed by today’s smaller trucks, but its many features include vacuum-laminated sidewalls, and it can be ordered with an outdoor kitchen.
Starcraft has introduced the new model with two floor plans, and is planning to add two more. The starting suggested retail price is $30,700.
The fifth wheels have in-floor ducted heat with thermostat controls, a ceiling fan, decorative lighting, and a sound system with an AM/FM/CD stereo with an MP3 input jack. The kitchen is equipped with a three-burner range, oversized oven, six-cubic-foot flush-mount refrigerator, deep storage drawers under booth dinette seats, and a residential faucet with pullout sprayer. One floor plan also includes an outdoor kitchen with a sink, two-burner stove and space for a TV.
The 60-inch by 80-inch queen bed includes an upgraded evergreen mattress. The fifth wheel can sleep as many as eight, depending on the selected options. Exterior features include a patio awning, radial tires with chrome hubcaps, and two rear stabilizer jacks.
Starcraft offers a Galaxy Package of 17 upgrades that includes items such as a 32-inch LCD TV with DVD player, solid-surface countertops, a colored front fiberglass cap, and raised-panel cabinetry.
Starcraft, which has been building RVs since 1964, is part of the Jayco family. For information on Starcraft products, visit starcraftrv.com.
