Thor Industries has added two more brands to its lineup with the acquisition of trailer builder Cruiser RV and luxury fifth-wheel builder DRV. Thor paid about $47.7 million to make them part of its Heartland Recreational Vehicles subsidiary.
Cruiser RV and DRV, which are based in Howe, Indiana, are keeping their current production facilities, work force and management. The combined companies had sales of about $135 million last year.
Thor’s RV subsidiaries in addition to Heartland are Airstream, Bison Coach, Crossroads RV, Dutchmen Manufacturing, Keystone RV, KZ RV, Livin’ Lite and Thor Motor Coach.
