Thor Industries, the world’s largest RV manufacturer, ended its fiscal year July 31 with more than $3 billion in sales, a 12 percent gain over the previous year. The total included both RV and bus sales. RV sales alone exceeded $2.6 billion.
The company also reported that it ended its fiscal year with an RV backlog of $337 million, 47 percent more than a year ago. The company said the big backlog provides optimism for the coming year, tempered by concern about consumer confidence and the economy.
